The Chilla Gorillas are a FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team from San Rafael High School in California. We design, build, and program competitive robots while developing engineering, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Our team gains hands-on experience in CAD, fabrication, Java programming, control systems, and iterative design.
The First Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics program for students from the ages of 12 to 18 to compete in challenges against each other. Students develop STEM, outreach, and engineering skills in order for them to succeed.
We promote STEM education through outreach, mentorship, and demonstrations in our local community.
As students of San Rafael High School, we strive to represent our school with excellence, professionalism, and innovation both on and off the competition field.
